the depth of women series

we, are one series
this series is meant to convey the relationship between humans and nature. by tAKING DOUBLE EXPOSURE SHOTS, I BLEND THE SOUL OF A HUMAN TO THE SOUL OF A FLOWER and/or ANOTHER HUMAN to exemplify that WE ARE ALL FRAGMENTS OF EACH OTHER.
a woman's naked body isn't seen for what it is: flesh on bones. she is thus seen as purely as an instrument for sex/while the depth of her inner being is glanced over.. Purely because we are too busy staring at her boisterous breasts and perfectly peach shaped bum. In this series I photographed women who have all felt the heavy weight of sexual victimization from men, women, and children. all these women have remarkable minds, who house the capacity juggle intelligence, hard work, kindness, generosity, selflessness, creativity, loyalty, and love. yet when we see a woman naked, we only see one thing - a vessel to be used purely for an animalistic pleasure.
all photos are shot on 35mm film
